eTech Parts at CES 2014

This year eTech Parts was lucky enough to survive attend International CES 2014 in Las Vegas! It was a great opportunity for us to check out all the latest and greatest in technology and accessories, meet with new and current vendors, discuss the upcoming Wireless Repair EXPO with Wireless Dealer Magazine - and we even got the chance to meet and catch up with several of our customers over dinner. While speaking with vendors, clients, and several accessory brands at CES we were pleased to learn that as a whole, the wireless repair industry has gained an enormous amount of credibility and growth of presence in only a year (since CES 2013).

We left for Vegas Monday afternoon with high hopes and a full itinerary.

Day one, first priority: COFFEE.

Emily had a blast looking through this tub full of accessories!

On Tuesday, Grace was interviewed by Wireless Dealer Magazine about eTech Parts, the repair industry and our involvement with the Wireless Repair EXPO!

On Wednesday we had a meeting with Ballistic and they let us try out their Oculus Rift Drop Test simulation!

On Wednesday evening we bought dinner for some of our customers who were local or visiting Las Vegas for CES. There were repair shop owners from Florida, Nebraska, South Carolina, Kansas, Las Vegas and even Australia! It was a great opportunity for everyone to discuss repair - from soldering jobs that make your hair turn grey, debates over water damage repair and the nightmare of troubleshooting LCD issues, everyone got a chance to share their thoughts and opinions on the world of repair. Thanks for joining us for dinner, guys (and gals)!

And then it was over. We packed our bags, headed to the airport and went home, happy to have successfully survived CES and Las Vegas! It was a great opportunity to see where the repair industry stacks up in the grand scheme of things; compared to last year's CES 2013 we were pleased to see the improvement in general knowledge and awareness of the rapidly-growing repair industry. We're so happy to have had the chance to go to CES as representatives of eTech Parts and the repair industry as a whole. To the Repair Community: our segment of the technology industry is growing fast, so hold on tight and stick by our side!
