Customers sound startled when they find out that eTech Parts is located in Olathe, KS a suburb of Kansas City. Afterall, what's a high-tech parts wholesaler doing mingling with Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz in Cow Town? Probably eating barbecued ribs while listening to Jazz music in a pasture. The clichés are plentiful. The fact is, due to its central location, Kansas City offers a huge advantage in terms of logistics. Shipments are faster and less expensive from here than they would be if we were located on either coast. The cost of living is also less, so savings eventually trickle down to our customers.
