One area we explore often is market price for repairs. The goal in collecting this information is to help establish some standard pricing for the industry. These prices can jump around based on regions, size of city, competition, etc. Why try to set standards? There are millions upon millions of these devices out there, and we still see thousands of so-called "outdated" device parts rolling out of our warehouse every week. If you are offering top of the line service with high quality parts, standing behind your work and prices is extremely important to maximize your profits. There is no rush to dramatically drop your prices, plenty of consumers do their research and practice the law of "you get what you pay for."
This time around we look at the iPod Touch 4th Generation, a great example of a device that has millions in circulation, is handed down to children, and is a highly difficult DIY repair.
