We are here to ensure that all of the mission critical information on your assets are properly removed or destroyed. We have a menu of different services ranging from onsite destruction to asset resale. Our goal is to understand the needs of your organization and then format a plan that best solves those requirements. We are different from our competitors in that no clients’ needs are the same, every customer has a 100% unique program and eTech ITAD will design a solution that exceeds HIPPA/FACTA.SOCS/GOBA/PIC DSS, etc.

Destruction

There are many forms of destruction available with eTech ITAD. We can come on site to your facility and capture the serial numbers of all HDDs and then punch or shred them right at your facility. We can also bring the data bearing devices back to our secure facility for processing. At this facility.

eTech ITAD offers several options; witness or video destruction; serial number capture prior to shredding; and recycling of destroyed material. eTech ITAD can also provide a Certificate of Destruction, referencing these data bearing devices as an extra level of indemnification.

Sanitization

If you are looking for some financial returns on your HDDs, we also offer a NIST 00-88 compliant, three (3) pass sanitization process of all data. Fully functional, re-formatted data bearing devices are then offered into secondary markets to maximize recovery revenue share solutions. This is an opportunity for an additional revenue stream to for your end of life assets. For those clients when the sensitivity of the data is less critical, eTech ITAD can offer a single pass, testing, re-formatting solutions as well.

Compliance

All processes comply with HIPPA, FACTA, SOCS, GOBA, PCI DSS Tier 1 - 3GLBA requirements. It is crucial to your business and to ours that all items are handled in line with all local, state, federal, and organizational compliance standards. Furthermore 100% of all end of life “scrap” is sent to vetted R2v3 faculties to ensure all of your equipment is handled with the utmost respect.

Logistics and De-Installation

Chain of Custody

One of the most important aspects of eTech ITAD solutions is our commitment to protect your assets and track them from your campus, dock or office to our facility to final disposition. Our logistics will pickup your assets at your locations, record their serial number or your asset tag as an option and go directly to our location. There a preliminary receiving report is compiled, and all assets are affixed with an eTech ITAD tracking ID # and recorded in our ERP. This bar-coded ID follows your asset through the entire disposition process.

eTech ITAD’s ERP system is real-time and state of the art. Using a unique login into our client portal, you can follow your assets throughout the entire process.

White Glove Logistics

We understand that not all pickups will be palletized and dock ready. eTech ITAD can provide onsite pick up and packaging of your assets. Prior to pick up, we can conduct a site survey to understand your unique physical capabilities and requirements. Once scheduled, our trained professional team with arrive with all the tools and material necessary to package and transport all of your assets quickly and securely.

Brown Glove Services

If you are capable of packaging your requirement yourself, but lack the packaging material, eTech ITAD can arrange for delivery of this material. Once your assets are ready, we can dispatch a truck to pick it up anywhere in the country. Whether it’s one pallet, Less Than Truckload (LTL) or a Full Truck Load (FTL) we can handle it all!

Secure Transport

For additional security of sensitive, data bearing assets, as an option, a serialized seal will be placed on the back of all trucks once your material is loaded. This secure transportation will be documented and tracked. Upon arrival at our facility, this seal will be documented, matched and your firm will receive confirmation when it arrives, ensuring secure and safe delivery.

Local Pickup for DFW

We have local trucks and personnel based out of our facility dedicated to Texas and are ready and waiting for you to schedule a pick up.

 

Disposition Options

Recycle

eTech ITAD partners with one of the largest, R2v3 certified, electronic recycling firms in the country to ensure your material is properly recycled in accordance with the highest level of standards. Also, with this close partnership eTech ITAD can decrease the handling charge our competitors have by ‘re-selling’ your material. Our downstream solution improves the opportunity for recovery revenue from your asset disposition that can go directly to your bottom line.

Resale

For those assets, with your approval, that have a second life through resale, eTech ITAD has domestic and international market relationships that can sell most any technology product. After confirmation of sale, the recovery generated is often part of a revenue share agreement resulting in an overall credit against processing investment or payment.

Parts Harvesting

If certain parts of an asset are broken or need destruction there may be components that still have secondary value, offering another opportunity to offset your processing investment.

Redeployment

As an additional option, you may direct the final disposition of your sanitized assets with a second useful life. These options include:

  • Internal- to your organization. eTech ITAD will perform the following services prior to disbursement:
    • Functional Testing
    • Re-imaging
    • Re-configuration
  • Employee Sale – eTech ITAD can perform the same services as above.
  • Donations - As an option, you can forgo the credit generated from disposition and donate to one of several charities that eTech ITAD works with as cash contribution. If you choose this option eTech ITAD will make a 10% contribution on top of your donation.

 

Security

  • Witness Destruction
    • Often, our customers want to witness the destruction of their HDD on site. Our clients are welcome in our facility to watch any or all of the process your assets go through.
  • Video Destruction
    • Utilizing our surveillance system, eTech ITAD can provide a video of the destruction of your data bearing devices.
  • Client/Serial number asset tracking.
  • eTech ITAD’ bar coded, tracking ID.
  • 24-hour Video Surveillance – Our facility is under 24 our surveillance by a camera system manned by our own security team.
  • Secure Areas, key card controlled – Badges are used to track the movement of all employees as well as limit the access to certain areas of the facility to unauthorized personnel.
  • Secure HDD/SDD Storage – All HDD are stored in a caged storage area with strict 24 camera surveillances.
