What does iBic™ mean?

ibicx300 As a customer service representative at eTech Parts, customers are always asking me to explain the differences between our base level parts and our iBic™ brand of parts. This is a very good question as there are many different levels of quality in the world of aftermarket repair parts, and I believe our iBic™ brand deserves a little more attention and explanation. The eTech Parts iBic™ brand of parts comes from the highest quality supplier of repair parts in the world. The differences between our normal high quality parts and iBic™ parts are slight, but certainly noticeable. Our iBic™ brand parts are created with:
  • More thorough and sophisticated quality control
  • High-tech production and testing
  • Higher quality components
  • Higher quality assembly
Most iBic™ parts also come as more complete assemblies. For example, the iBic™ screens for the iPhone 4/4S comes with the camera hold and earpiece speaker grill pre-installed. This saves the time you would spend transferring tiny parts while doing repairs, making this replacement screen the easiest to use during repairs. The same is also true of the iBic™ screens for the iPad 2, which come complete with home button, camera hold, and premium adhesive pre-installed. The impeccable quality of this glass makes iBic™ a fan favorite! iBic™ brand parts are exclusive to eTech Parts, meaning you won’t get this level of quality anywhere else. iBic™ parts are the closest to original quality parts available, and this can be used as a selling point to customers looking for the best quality parts for their device. Simply explaining to your customers that these impeccable parts are sold exclusively through your supplier, eTech Parts, it will give them confidence in not only the part being used to repair the device but also the competence of the technician working on it. iBic™ parts could even be offered as an “upgrade” to those extra picky customers who want the best quality available. Many customers I speak with are concerned about lower repair prices being offered by their competition. They often blame this on their competitors getting “better deals” on their replacement parts, but this isn’t necessarily the case. Someone may be able to do it at a lower cost, but I’ve heard several horror stories of failed repairs to know that the quality of parts and work should be valued above all. Of course pricing should be competitive, but when you’re dealing with someone’s personal electronic device, quality work will always be the most important tool in your kit.
